Dr. Tom Spurlock, without question, saved my life. I was in so much much in my lower back that I could barely walk, or stand up from sitting. That level of pain made me lose the joy in my life. Well, I made an appointment at Alabama Spine and Rehab and basically, I just showed up for the appointment. Dr. Spurlock met with me and we discussed my physical limitations. Within 30 minutes of our discussion, he had made an appointment for me to get an MRI (which the MRI office is around the corner)......I went next door, had the MRI on my lower back. Then directly afterwards, went back to his office and found out I had a herniated L4. He adjusted my back which gave me HUGE relief, which I had not had in a longtime. He has such a kind and gentle manner and I felt completely taken care of. His staff of Physical Therapists and office support treated me like family - so kind and comforting. One week later, Dr. Spurlock set up a pain block for my L4. with great pain doctor and after that pain block I really experienced progress in healing. I am not a big fan of taking pain medicine so Dr. Spurlock is the perfect doctor for me. He treats the actual cause of the pain verses medicating it. Dr. Spurlock, without knowing it, took me from a person who could barely walk, to a person who now exercises regularly, and is happy! So, Dr. Spurlock really did save my life.....my life is better, fuller, more active. GOD BLESS YOU Dr. Spurlock!!!!
