Central Alabama Veterans is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 2400 Hospital Road in Tuskegee, Alabama. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Central Alabama Veterans. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Central Alabama Veterans.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Central Alabama Veterans, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Central Alabama Veterans have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Central Alabama Veterans. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Central Alabama Veterans can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

The transportation department and entire team earned this Five-star rating! Even though you may be going through horrible medical procedures and require transportation (short-term or long-term), transportation team will make you feel as comfortable as possible along the way. Please don't try to take a cab, Uber, or (heaven-forbid) drive yourself to difficult medical procedures. It's not worth the risk, Honey! Have your primary care doctor or social worker place a referral for transportation. You'll be on a list and the driver will give you a call. By the way, they have the coolest vans with all the veteran logos! 🇺🇸 Mr. Russell and the whole team helped make a tough day go a bit smoother! Love them ❤

I walked in, without an appointment, to a very busy Dental clinic. I was told to wait, which I expected. What I didn't expect was, 20 minutes later, being taken into xray and an apology for the wait. REALLY, 20 minutes as a walk-in. I was happy to be seen at all. I later learned they were short staffed with one dentist on leave. The staff, reception, technician and Dentist were was pleasant, very professional, and extremely skilled. My pain is gone, I got antibiotics and a consult to a specialist. Thank you Ella and Dr. Johnson. In this office, Veterans first, is a reality.

Never had better treatment from any health care facility. I am so glad that the professional staff and doctors at Tuskegee and Montgomery, as well as the clinic in Monroeville are there to treat patients with the concern, friendly attitude and attention to detail that we Vets deserve. THANK YOU!!!!
